This is the second pond that the builders constructed for our client however, at this location they installed a waterfall as well.
Everytime the waterfall was switched on the ponds water level went down.
After a brief inspection it was discovered that the waterfall hadn't been sealed and was just water running over rocks inserted into concrete.
Due to budget restraints the clien't didnt want the waterfall rebuilt so we removed all rocks from the concrete, filled all holes with a sand & cement leveling compound, covered the area with a layer of Firestone EPDM 1.02mm liner, re set the rocks around the outside edge and covered the liner with some 20mm aggregates.
Finally we supplied and installed more aquatic vegetation.
