Diffused aeration system Woolmer Green, Hertfordshire

We were recommend to the owner of a private lake as "the only company I'd let deal with it" by a very well known and established aquarium service company when asked could they point him in the right direction as to what to do with the lake.

After our initial telephone conversation we arranged a meeting and talked through various options to keep the water quality in A1 condition to benefit the trout that had been introduced to the lake after it was constructed.

The option taken up was to supply and install a diffused aeration system.

There were 2 reasons for this choice of aeration. Firstly the system is almost silent so there is no issue with noise as can be realted to surface aeration and secondly and most importantly the water depth where the diffusers were to be installed was over 2m deep so a diffused system is the best way of aerating the water.
