Harlow Council, Harlow, Essex lake restoration

Back in 2000 we were contracted by Harlow council to carry out major restoration works on Netteswell Pond in Harlow, Essex as part of a joint work force with The Environment Agency.

Our part of the project was to carry out environmental enhancements after The EA had removed the old concrete banks form the pond. This was to include the planting out of areas in between fishing swims and the construction of fishing platforms for anglers inclusive of disabled access.

As you can see by the pictures 3 months after planting the aquatic vegetation was in full flower and looked as if had always been there.
