Pond clean and re sealing using GRP in Chiswick, London

Our customers pond in Chiswick, London was leaking and needed re sealing.

The choice was made to Fibreglass the pond so we carried out the following works;

• Set up an aerated holding tank
• Drained the pond
• Put all fish and wildlife into the aerated holding tank
• Clean the pond thoroughly
• Sand down the pond to remove any imperfections and debris
• Remove all debris from pond
• Cover and leave to dry
• Seal the pond using 2 layers of 450gsm resin coated matting with a black top coat to finish off
• Cover and leave to dry
• Re fill pond and put all fish and wildlife back into pond

The above process will give you a leak free pond or water feature for many, many years.
